On Wednesday March 14th, sixteen TY students departed PCS to go on a music and film production day to Limerick institute of Technology.
On arrival, we were met by Donnachda who gave us a comprehensive tour of both the recording studios, the campus and the the student's union. We stopped in the students union to listen to a talk being given by renowned radio producers and youtubers. I found this a bit boring as I could not relate to what the interviewees were saying. We then got break which meant that my friends and I had an opportunity to eat because we were starving. We had to rush our food unfortunately due to our talk having started. This talk was very much targeted towards experienced or at least amature music produced as it made no sense to me.
When this talk ended, we decided to visit the arts college in Limerick. Fro the momne twe stepped in the door we could feel the cfreativity radiating from the building and the college was oozing imagination. We got a run through tour of the facilities and got nto the gallery. This was a great experience to see diffeent areas of careers that we wouldn't get thought about in careers class. We then left this college to get driven around the UL campus which I found beneficial as have always heard stores about UL nad it was nice to see what it is really like. Overall, I found the day beneficial and I am happy I attended.
